Well…..hi there.

Been a while, hasn't it? Yeaaaah, my bad.

Anyways, guess who graduated from secondary school? Come on, take a wild guess…. Got it in one; I did indeed. I now attend Hogeschool Rotterdam in, you may have guessed it; Rotterdam. Consider it a kind of college, if you like. This does make sure I travel about four hours a day by bike, train and subway. It's extremely exhausting, but I'm hanging in there and I'm having the time of my life. And, of course, it's for a cause; my becoming an English teacher.

Classes are great, the people in them are great and I'm actually liking school for once in my life. I have classes like American history, English intro, Vakdidactiek, Phonetics, Drama ( and who knew I could be such a drama queen? O.o), Internship preparations and Grammar.

I'm actually loving Grammar……huh, who would've thunk?

My health is ok. At the moment I'm avoiding the sneezing and coughing people while travelling by train or subway and I haven't caught the flu that's been going around yet.  Just the cold I've caught in February and has yet to go away again. Go on, shoo!

My family hasn't been doing so well lately. My greatgrandmother died recently, and my greataunt not to long after. Greatgrandmama we saw coming, we thought she was dieing three years ago, but she kept on going. She even had a new boyfriend in her final months. Mind, he was so obviously a boytoy.... She was 95 and he a mere 87 ...

Next...oh yeah, romance....yeaaaah. Still nothing.

Work's been a hoot and a half though. Still the same work, different boss and superiors. They're great people. They know how to get the job done efficiently but they're no slavedrivers. They like to joke around as much as we do and I don't mind going to work at seven in the morning anymore.  Oh, and they hired my sister last week.... this is going to be good....

Oh! Almost forgot. I'm celebrating my eighteenth birthday next week! Yay, finally of age. Not that it makes that much of a difference I suppose. Sure, I'll be able to get a driverslicense and I'll be able to vote and all that, but I'm really not into politics and I just know I'm going to be a disaster behind the wheel.... Oh well.
